When painting this work of art I was continually layering paint over paint and found myself moving with music to create a celebratory painting that I hope greets you every time you walk into the room. When I look at this painting I envision confetti raining from above. I imagine that singular moment of surprise when those who love you have gathered to make you know that you are important, valuable, and worthy of celebration!
