Hello Huntersville 2017 - In the books!

Stephen Lursen art workshops stephen lursen weekend workshop

This year I worked the annual Hello Huntersville Arts Festival for the 6th time. Each year I teach free classes to the public on a first come first served basis. This year over 200 customers walked up and learned my 2 step painting and walked away afterwards with their painting in hand. Here are the sample images and video that I published ahead of time. The video was vertical to be easier to watch on a mobile device.

Here are some of the sample examples of the work to be taught:

For the first time ever, I had some great help teaching! Brittany Conklin was a wonderful assistant teacher and my amazing wife Cara also stayed and assisted me in teaching. I was surrounded by a wonderful team and I am thankful for them!

And what made this year more productive than just teaching 200+ people in 4 hours, was the fact that I had my very first pop up tent for Stephen Lursen Art! My Great Friends Josh Conklin and Bradford MacKay of Merely Telegenic ran the booth during the entire 4 hours and helped me tear down afterwards.

Thank you to everyone who had a hand in the success of this year's Hello Huntersville Art Festival!

Sincerely,

Stephen
